Where your entries are stored

The tools save to your browser's local storage. That is a small area of your own device that only pages from this site can read. Your journal entries, mood logs, assessment answers, saved scripts, trackers, and preferences all live there.

Because the storage belongs to one browser on one device, your entries do not follow you. What you write on your phone will not appear on your laptop, and what you write in a private or incognito window disappears when you close it.

What this means for you

• Clearing your browsing data, cookies, or site data will erase everything you saved here.
• Anyone with access to your unlocked device and this browser can open the tools and read what you wrote.
• There is no password on the tools and no way to recover deleted entries.
• Tools that offer an export or print option are the way to keep a copy somewhere safe.

If you share a device with other people and you are writing about something sensitive, consider using the print or export option and then clearing the entry.

What is not collected

The site does not ask for your name, email address, location, or contact information, and none of the tools transmit what you enter anywhere. There are no analytics or tracking scripts, no advertising, and no third-party cookies.

Using the tools does not require signing up for anything. If that ever changes, or if any part of the site later asks you to create an account, this page will say what is collected and why before it happens.

Links to other sites

The directories link out to therapy providers, government programs, crisis services, and app publishers. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else's site, under their privacy practices. Read their policy if it matters to you. Listing an organization here is not an endorsement of how they handle data.

External resources loaded by the site

The Vitals Tracker loads a charting library from a public code delivery network in order to draw its graphs. That request tells the network that a browser asked for the library file. It does not include any of your tracker data, which never leaves your device.

Deleting what you have saved

Each tool has its own reset or delete controls. To remove everything at once, clear site data for this site in your browser settings. Look for "Cookies and site data" or "Clear browsing data" and choose this site specifically. That erases all saved entries immediately and permanently.

Changes to this page

If the site ever starts collecting information, requiring an account, or sending data to a server, this page will say so before that happens.
